3 Things You Must Have to Successfully Burn Fat

To lose weight, you need MEN. So what is MEN? It’s a simple acronym for the 3 things that every dieting person must have to successfully burn fat and keep the weight off. Burning fat should never be thought of in terms of a quick and easy fix. Burning fat and keeping it off takes hard work and is more a life-style.

To lose weight, you need MEN:

  1. (M) otivation – Without motivation following a nutrition plan and exercise will not happen. The best way to motivate yourself is to set a goal. Give yourself a reasonable goal such as lose 1 pound per week. For the month of May, you will drop from 190 to 185. Once you established a good nutrition and exercise program, you can chart and predict your weight loss and the day you will arrive at your target goal. The trick is to not drastically cut your food intake to lose weight. That never works for the long-term e.

  2. (E) xercise – A daily routine of aerobics for at least 30 minutes. By keeping your daily calorie consumption below your metabolic calorie burn (total resting calorie burn) and using exercise to burn those extra calories, you will be well on your way to losing as much weight as you desire. Exercise also increases your metabolism so that you burn more calories throughout the day. You will get real boost if you add a session of light weight lifting, which will help prevent you from losing lean muscle mass while you’re dieting. The more fat you burn and the less muscle you lose, the better you look ….   Burn fat + Keep Muscle = Great Appearance

(N) utrition Plan -  that includes calories and time to eat. It should be easy to follow and not overly restrictive. A good nutrition plan is better than a diet plan because it’s your roadmap to follow for a life-time. To lose weight, this plan should reduce your overall calorie intake by only 20% or less. The plan should incorporate 5 to 6 small meals per day. Preferably have the last meal no later than 6:00 PM or no later than 4 hours prior to bedtime.
